Young couple's smooth move to first home at Bluebell

Leading housebuilder Barratt Mercia has received a seal of approval from its latest residents at Bluebell in Nuneaton after they revealed how easy and smooth the move to their first home was using the Government backed scheme FirstBuy.
Gary Abbott and Ruth Cowley, both 26, first heard about Barratt Mercia's Bluebell development on the radio and after visiting several other developments in the area, Bluebell stood out as the one they were most impressed by.
The couple purchased their first two-bedroom home together at the award winning development and moved in at the end of September.
"We had been living apart for six years because we both still lived with our parents" comments Gary. "When we drove past and visited Bluebell it just stuck out to us and it was the perfect place and the right time to buy.
"When you hear about all these different schemes you can take advantage of as a first time buyer it all just sounded far too stressful. But the Barratt FirstBuy scheme was brilliant and we were surprised that it was so easy.
"The Barratt sales advisers were absolutely brilliant and explained all about the scheme. It wasn't complicated like we thought it would be and we would happily use it again and recommend it to friends - it was great.
"We bought a Bentley style two-bedroom houses and it's perfect for when we decide to start a family because there's enough room to grow."

Barratt Mercia has been confirmed as meriting the maximum five star official rating from the Home Builders Federation (HBF) for the second year in a row. The news was announced after more than 20,000 new home buyers across the country took part in this year's HBF customer satisfaction survey.
