Two show homes and a state of the art marketing suite were unveiled along with the news that the first purchasers would be taking up residence at the end of the month.
Located on Queen Elizabeth Road, the development comprises more than 800 homes to be built over the next ten years. It is the penultimate phase in Camp Hill's regeneration, marking a major milestone in the transformation of the area.
Andy Peters, Managing Director at Barratt Mercia commented, "We are delighted to welcome the Mayor of Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council to Bluebell today to help officially unveil this exciting project.
"This is a landmark development for both the company and the people of Camp Hill and I am pleased to say we have already received high interest from people keen to buy a brand new home in this well established community, with the first purchasers moving into their new homes at the end of June."
The Mayor of Nuneaton and Bedworth, Councillor Don Navarro added, "This scheme is really working to improve the social fabric of this community and I am delighted to be here today. I can see, with my own eyes, how the quality of homes has raised the standard of living, to a level which we had previously only imagined.
"The concept of Bluebell is far reaching and being here today, I can see that Barratt has really been listening. We are seeing in action how money can be injected into a project and produce something we can only be proud of.
"I can attest to what was here previously and we have to celebrate this transformation. The project is energising the local workforce and bringing new work, contracts and skills to the locality. It is a delightful notion to know that homes and people are at the top of the agenda and I am proud to be part of it."
Chris Egan, Programme Manager, Pride in Camp Hill said, "This really is a significant milestone that Camp Hill can be proud of. High quality design is a critical factor for the Bluebell development; the new show homes prove that we have considered inspiring designs to help create a real sense of place that will stand the test of time.
"The vision has always been to meet the needs of the present, and be sustainable into the future. PinCH and its partners have promoted best practice, and made sure that local people are at the heart of what we deliver".
There are two three-bedroom show homes now available to view called the Langley and the Shrewley.
Bluebell offers a selection of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes priced from £123,950. For more information, please contact the sales office on 02476 399 520 open daily from 10am to 5pm.
